Scream & Shout

A few months ago, we had MTV on, and Will.I.Am featuring Britney came on with their dance hit, "Scream & Shout". After hearing it a few more times, we realized there was a pretty nice melody in it. We decided to record a cover version, by means of an experiment.

Roland recorded everything with acoustic instruments, including a Chapman stick for the bass lines. The more involved I got in the song, the more I realized this song had a hidden meaning to me. This is not just a song about going out and having a good time, to me, this song is about censorship.

We are all unique, which by definition means that we are all different, which in turn means we're all exactly the same. So what's the point of segregation based on race, age, religion, gender, sexual preference, income, or ability?

I am committed to speaking out, no, shouting it out, when confronted by injustice, censorship or inequality, and want to inspire everyone to do the same.

We are in this together.
We are in this together.
Did you get that? We're in this thing together.

Enjoy the video!
