We've had the absolute pleasure of playing at De Drie Koningen in the picturesque, artsy seaside town of Groede twice over the holidays, and loved every single minute of it. Seldom do we come across a venue with the right atmosphere, thoughtful people, excellent acoustics and good food, and this place has all of that and more. It even has its own brewery where they cook up three different ales under the name Marckensteijn, home-brewed and served in a wine glass. Talk about chique.
De Drie Koningen, which has been under new management since last May, deserve all the praise and attention in the world. It won't be long before we head back there again, that's for sure.
